What is a lymphatic drainage massage?

The lymphatic system is a composition of lymphatic channels which run throughout the body as well as lead into the large nodes of lymph. The task of this system is to transport white blood cells, expel waste, toxins, and unwanted materials. It also transports white blood cells that fight infection. Lymphatic Drainage massage will help to give support to your immune system and also help to achieve balance of your body.

During the massage, our Certified Lymphatic Drainage Practitioner uses a series of  stretching, gliding, cupping motions, and compressing the client’s body. No machines or other tools necessary!

Note: This treatment is not intended for immediate cosmetic changes or weight loss.

Testimonials

Sooo glad I did this. My surgeon barely even mentioned lymphatic drainage massage as a recovery option. I did some research and found Milan. She was so nice, the massage was so comfortable, and my results look so great!

Got my surgery in Cali and the Dr referred me here for post op recovery. Was not disappointed!
— JULIE MORRIS
I had a few lymphatic massages done in Florida after my BBL but I didn’t like them. I was so scared to get them here, but the therapist was very gentle and made everything so comfortable! I should have just waited to do the massages in Boston, lol.
— AMY GONZALES
OMG BEST lymphatic massage. Post lipo

MY PROMISE

I aim to educate my patients in a safe environment while offering them necessary comprehensive care. The power of focused tissue manipulation has been clinically proven to improve circulation of lymphatic fluid toward the lymph nodes, where it is “drained”. Dandelion Massage Boston has perfected these techniques through rigorous clinical training, continued education, and individual client assessment.

After your cosmetic surgery, it is highly recommended that you receive a series of Lymphatic Drainage Massages to keep the excess swelling from becoming painful. There are many types of lymphatic massages out there, but after surgery, you should stick to the hands-on manual variety.
